Our Story
Stirling Tavern opened on South Street in 2016 with a vision to reimagine what a neighborhood tavern could be. Nearly a decade later, we’ve become a Morristown mainstay — known for creative food, an evolving craft cocktail program, two lively bars, and the kind of atmosphere that keeps people coming back. Through it all, the idea has stayed the same: great food, great drinks, and a place that feels like part of the neighborhood.

Familiar, but never ordinary. Stirling’s kitchen takes the food you want from a great tavern and approaches it with the creativity and technique of a serious kitchen. From our signature dry-aged cheeseburger and Voodoo Wings to seasonal flatbreads, fresh seafood, composed entrées, and constantly changing specials, the menu balances craveable favorites with dishes you might not expect to find at your neighborhood tavern.
